Eventing Nation’s Rising Stars…

I am so proud of this kid! She has two very challenging horses, and works incredibly hard for the love of the sport. No matter if she finishes first or last, she is friendly, gracious, and supportive of others. She keeps a smile on her face, even when her baby warmblood would rather fly through the air trying to buck her off than do dressage. She just keeps smiling and keeps riding. She spends the night at the barn on many weekends so she can get up early on her day off school and help with barn chores. She lived in FL until two years ago, yet here she is riding every day in the snow, sleet, ice, you name it—She has an indoor at her house, but she’s riding here out in the weather so she can train to be better. When she struggles, she very politely wants to know how to be better. When she succeeds, she puts the recognition on everyone else.

We are so proud of you Emma… Recently it has been said that the age of the hard working, passionate “barn rat” is no more, that kids don’t want to work that hard these days. Well here she is…
