Spring Bay Horse Trials

ImageWOW what a weekend. Completed 66 rides from our barn in two days!!!

Andrea and I rode a combined total of 9 horses (18 rides) with every one of our horses going DOUBLE CLEAN on XC today, at all levels from BN to P. Batting 1,000! So many wonderful student victories this weekend… Many, many great ribbons! 15 straight double clear rounds in Show Jumping!

Special congrats to my assistant Andrea… One year ago today,, she completed her first BN. This weekend, she rode four horses, BN to T, to finish ALL horses on their dressage scores, ALL in the ribbons, two of which are doing their first events ever! She’s been an amazing pupil for the last year and needless to say, has come SO FAR! Congrats!

ImageIt was great to have the epic Spot Treatment back with us for the first time in 3 years… What a rush to have him out on the XC today! Nemo pulled off two double cleans this weekend (didn’t touch a single pole) to jump really really well to sit in 5th in a great division at prelim. The baby horses all did really well—Ryan 3rd, Berke 5th, Faith 5th, Gio 8th, Vie 3rd.

Special congrats to Emma/Ski, Micki/Oreo, and Kathryn/Sammy on their first HT’s this weekend–completing in style!! (And in the ribbons!!)

Congratulations to Leah Lang-Gluscic who visited this week from IL for lessons.  She culminated her week with three excellent finishes, winning OBN, 7th in OP, and 11th in OT, all with double clean XC.  Congrats!
