Kentucky Classique–Friday

Great day at KY Classique! Though it is brutally, torturously hot out. Nemo and Hopper are running the Intermediate.  It’s 100 degrees out there today—literally!  Even better, the forecast says the high for monday will be 68… As soon as the show is over!

Hop was great in warmup but I made some mistakes and left points on the table in dressage—still good for 35, 2 pts from lead. There is still a LOT more to come from that horse, so it’s pretty exciting. I got Nemo too deep in bridle and was disappointed in the frame I put him in (he was quiet and obedient), but scored 38. Both were AWESOME in show jumping! Just one rail total for my two horses in the Intermediate. (Nemo clean, Hopper 4 jumping).  They were great! Nemo sits in 5th and Hopper in 7th in a quality class.  The XC is basically the course from Young Riders, so it should be fun tomorrow!
