Sayre CT Wrapup

Congratulations to our two students who attended the Sayre School CT today.

Nikki & Oliver competed in their first preliminary CT together.  The division was a very tough, competitive one, and they held their ground!  They had a great dressage test to score a 31, even with an error. They jumped a lovely double clean SJ round without touching a single pole to finish 3rd.  Congrats!

Holly & Trevor have been dilligently working on their dressage, and the hard work pays off!   They scored a 38 in dressage, followed by just one rail in SJ (the only fence they touched) to end the day in a tough training division in 6th place.
Congratulations to both ladies!

Though sad that we are not near enough to really work with you, I still think of me and Rudy as belonging to Team CEO. I am sorry that I did not make more effort to connect with you guys for Sayre. I heard (I think) Hank’s voice announcing us up at the dressage complex, and saw Holly outside the office, but before that did not know any of you would be there. I brought Rudy and we did all three intro tests and for the first time ever, got the right canter lead in Intro C. He was steady and attentive, even though Masterson was a totally new setting for him. We ended the day with blue ribbons for Intro A and C, and a red for B. I was thrilled! My friend Bonnie also showed in both the starter and BN CT and got a 3rd and a 4th. She never stopped smiling although it was steadily raining through her whole jump experience. We were very proud of Hoover, as this was only her second time taking him anywhere, and the first time that they jumped.

I hope we get to join you all for something again soon. Miss you all!
