Thanksgiving Cross Country Schooling

It’s a little belated on the post, but I wanted to share some photos from our cross country schooling on Thanksgiving weekend.

We had such a beautiful weekend, and I’m so thrilled to see so many of our riders and horses have come soooooooo far……  I can’t wait to debut them all in the spring!!

From left to right, top to bottom:  (Click on photo for larger image)

  • Gemma and Buddy have come so far!  This young pair shown successfully conquering the Training/Prelim water with grace and poise.  (chestnut)
  • Otter and Marybeth easily gliding over the scary black Novice bench.
  • Ravioli and Meghan Towle conquer the banks with ease.   (paint up bank)
  • Quin and Riddle jump the Training/Prelim water for the very first time, and make it look easy.  (paint down bank)
  • Holly and her new horse Dexter sail over the novice oxer.  (bay over oxer)
  • Grady and Molly prove that they are an exciting pair for the future, making light  work of the Training/Prelim water complex.  (gray down bank)

You should have seen the grins on these riders faces!!!

Hi gang: I sure do miss you all this time of year!! Looking good at the above schooling! That Grady sure does remind me on someone… We should do a pas de deux or a hunter pace together next year & be twinettes! Happy holidays to one and all! See you in 2010! Love, Kim B
